Christopher "CJ" Banks graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1997. He was a 2-time All-Ohioan in football and basketball at CHS. He flourished in Bill Dennis' Run-n-Boot offense. Banks threw 32 touchdown passes and is third in passing with more than 35-hundred yards. He also led the Cavs Basketball team to the District Final against State Runner-Up Zanesville. Banks signed with Bowling Green State University and finished his collegiate career at Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois, where he is ranked 5th on Olivet’s All-Time Passing List. He led ONU to the NAIA playoffs in 2000. His Coach Gary Newsome said it was the school’s last playoff appearance and still stands as one of the best in the ONU history.
