Tony Aloisio graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1953. Tony was a 4-year varsity letterman in football and track, and a 2-year letterman in basketball. On the gridiron, Tony never came off the field. He played end and fullback on offense, linebacker on defense, and did the placekicking and punting for the Cavaliers.

Tony had an outstanding college football career at Indiana University from 1953-54 and 1957-58. His college career was interrupted by military service from 1955-56. Tony started on the varsity football team on both offense and defense for 3 years at Indiana. He started as a freshman on the freshman team at the time when freshmen were ineligible to play varsity football. He was voted team MVP in 1957, voted as a member of Notre Dame's All-Opponent team, and was drafted by the NFL's Chicago Cardinals as a junior. Instead, Tony returned for his senior year and played in the Blue-Gray All-Star Game.

While serving in the Army, Tony was selected and played on the Army's All-Far East Football Champions in Japan for 2 years.

Tony played professional football in the Canadian Football League in 1959 for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
