Paul Litter graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1940.

In 1939, Paul became the first CHS player to be selected 1st Team All-Ohio by a major wire service. Litter became the first CHS football player to participate in a post-season game when he and a group of Ohio all-stars travelled to Florida to play in the Kumquat Bowl.
